we tried it out, did a lot of testing, and this is definitely the very best baby monitor app. We use very it often, not like other apps that you download and use only once or twice. Thumbs up for the update!

Wonder why all the other reviews were do positive. Are they biased? Not better than any other babyfone app. Unfortunately they fail to mention that if one alarm goes off (which could be a false alarm) you need to restart the app. Also app does not dim the screen and you put a bright light in your babys room unless you change the settings of your phone.

We needed a baby monitor as we forgot ours on vacation. My wife and I both purchased the app on our iPhones. I have the 3GS and she has the 4S. The setup does seem simple. Choose sensitivity, Choose number from your list of contacts etc.. We both hit the button to activate it. After the 10second count down it gives you, both phones said "Active" but there was no sound on either end. Tried for about 40mins until giving up. Pissed I spent $5 for nothing!! What the hell!!!!?

The people giving poor reviews obviously dont know how to use this app or even their phones- it works flawlessly!!! I have a 3GS iPhone that I took on a 2week vacation, and my inlaws couldnt believe it. You set it and it would call their home # or my husbands iPhone- whatever phone you like. You can turn off the screen (no light for baby) and it works perfectly. If it goes off, you just hit the "start" button again and off you go. Wonderful...thank you!!!

Since the update, this app does not work in the phones "sleep" mode.

Worked great for us during naptime on vacation. Our 3rd floor condo was too far for the range of our regular monitor, so we would have been confined inside during naptime. This app allowed us to be at the pool with our older kids and called us when our baby woke up. Loved it!!

I purchased this on vacation and worked great. It alarmed me when my son woke up. The only downside is that I couldnt hear him on the phone crying or making noise like the app described. Other than that it was great for the price.
